<image:title>Team - Kim McGrenere (Technical Lead)</image:title>
<image:caption>Follow Kim! After a lifetime of failed attempt at “team sports”, Kim stumbled across climbing in her final year of high school. The unique individuality of climbing movement captured her instantly - she’s been obsessed with the climbing lifestyle for nearly 15 years. Kim move to Vancouver in 2012 to complete her Masters degree, which drew her away from eight years of teaching in climbing gyms and brought her closer to the climbing mecca of Squamish. Living near Squamish inspired her to push herself on the granite routes and boulders, and eventually quit her job alongside (now husband) Graham to move into a van. Together they travelled throughout Canada, the USA and Mexico, passing their days climbing, writing about climbing, and photographing climbing. Over her entire climbing career, Kim has been passionate about the women’s climbing movement, and has been involved as a coach, volunteer and advocate for women in climbing. In 2017, Kim became one of just a handful of Canadian women to climb 5.14. Kim’s accomplishments (and some of her own stories) have been published in Gripped, Squamish Climbing Magazine and Moja Gear. She is a level 2 Climbing Gym Instructor and has been teaching or coaching climbing since 2006. Top Redpoints: 5.14a/8b+ sport , 5.12c/7b+ trad, V9/7C boulder.</image:caption>

<image:title>Team - Graham McGrenere (Technical Lead)</image:title>
<image:caption>Follow Graham! Graham has been obsessed with rock climbing for more than a decade. It began as romantic pursuit to get to know his climber crush (now-wife) Kim and quickly evolved into a life-altering passion. After working as an instructor in different climbing gyms and exploring the rock in the Pacic Northwest of Canada, Graham and Kim bought a van and converted it into a liveable space. They hit the road and spent two and a half years travelling around Canada, the USA, and Mexico. Graham currently lives back in Canada but it hasn’t slowed him in the slightest: he continues to train and add hard sends to his resume. Graham offers his free time to volunteer at climbing events and festivals and is passionate about connecting with climbers from other places. His favourite way to experience a climbing area is by immersing himself into the culture and getting to know the locals. Graham’s climbing has been featured in Gripped, Canada’s national climbing magazine, as well as Squamish Climbing Magazine, a local publication. He is a level 1 Climbing Gym Instructor and has 5 years experience teaching climbing. Top Redpoints: 5.14b/8c sport, 5.13b/8a trad, V12/8A+ boulder.</image:caption>

<image:title>Team - Peter Rosso (Climber)</image:title>
<image:caption>Follow Peter! Peter's perseverance has served him well in climbing, allowing his passion for the sport and the outdoors to drive his development during the good times and recovery through serious injuries. Peter started climbing at the University of Bristol with the Expedition Society, when he was then elected in as a Kit and safety officer. He is trained as a Rock Climbing Instructor - a skill that'll he tap into as we integrate with the local climbing community in Dilijan, Armenia and teach local Armenians how to make use of the newly bolted routes. Peter is currently being mentored in bolting techniques with the plan of aiding maintenance of South Wales sports crags. Peter is integral to Project Armenia because he has extensive kit know-how, organizing and pulling together people with his enthusiasm. He has completed a course in expedition psychology, is ML trained, and RCI & Remote First Aid qualied. <image:title>Team - Val Ismaili (Fixer)</image:title>
<image:caption>Follow Val! Val has spent a year living in the Armenian Highlands designing and building the first hiking trails in the Caucasus with the Transcaucasian Trail Association. As a trekking guide, he’s built relationships with local hikers, climbers, National Park authorities and shepherds living in the mountains of Dilijan. Val first visited Armenia to complete the first thru-hike of the 1500km Transcaucasian Trail. His expeditions have been covered by Lonely Planet, the BBC Travel Show and Sidetracked Magazine, and as a keynote speaker he has shared his stories at a number of events, including on the stage of the Royal Geographical Society when he was elected as a Fellow at just 21 years old. Val will be running logistical support for the climbers by sharing experience gained on his previous expeditions and his extensive local knowledge of the area and the people.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Follow Tadeh! Tadeh spent six months volunteering in Armenia, as part of the Birthright Armenia program, where he worked in the areas of human rights protection and ecotourism. Tadeh briefly worked on the TCTA trail building project with Val and hiked the entire Syunik region as part of the Border2Border Program. He was able to gain a deeper understanding of modern Armenian society through his work and interactions with Armenians from all around the country. Tadeh got involved in rock climbing through the University of New South Wales Outdoors Club (UNSWOC) and held the positions of Events Officer and currently Safety Officer. In this position, he conducts safety and training sessions for new members and trip leaders. He volunteers as a lead hiking guide for the Emu Trekkers, sharing his knowledge of wild Australia with tourists and visitors. <image:title>Team - Aleksandra Wierzbowska (Filmmaker)</image:title>
<image:caption>Follow Aleks! Aleksandra has been on the road for almost three years now! Starting with a one month-solo hiking trip through Iceland, she then trekked across Abisko National Park in the polar night, went on a three-month winter female cycling expedition crossing the entirety of the Balkans, climbed a number of 4000m peaks in the Alps, and trad climbed in the Tatras. This year, she spent a month trekking in the Himalayas and climbing a few 5000m peaks, before sailing from Italy to Spain across the Tyrrhenian Sea, and finally making her pilgrimage to Yosemite. Before hitting the road, Aleksandra worked as a climbing instructor at Blokoblisko climbing wall, focusing on sport climbing, bouldering and competition until she realised she needed more outdoor adventure. She has turned all these journeys into photo frames and words, sharing them on her own website and on the pages of Polish outdoor magazines, including CRAGmagazine, Adventoor and Wspinanie. She also created a documentary called MICHAŁ telling the inspirational story of the climber, which was presented at several events in Poland. Her greatest ambition is to become an outdoor photographer and filmmaker, adventurer, explorer, writer, and professional climber.</image:caption>

His love for the mountains made him devote every free moment to trekking and taking inspiration from the mountain trails. He aims to create films that tell important stories that move the hearts of the audience and force them to think.</image:caption>
